Jithin Ravi and Chao Qi join the project Information Theory for Low-Latency Wireless Communications (LOLITA), ERC Starting Grant with principal investigator Tobias Koch.
Jithin Ravi received his dual M.Tech.+Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India. His research interests are in the area of information theory with a particular focus on distributed function computation and information theoretic security. He has held research appointments with Prof. Sidharth Jaggi from Chinese University of Hong Kong and Prof. Emanuele Viterbo from Monash University.
Chao Qi received her dual M.S. and Ph.D. degree in 2017 in Information Security from Southwest Jiaotong university, Chengdu, China. She studied with Prof. A. J. Han Vinck in Duisburg-Essen University, Germany, as a joint-Ph.D. student in 2013-2016. Her research interests are in the area of information theory with a particular focus on information theoretic security and secure distributed storage system.
